Where could Rajon Rondo land?

Danny Ainge, Celtics president, seems adamant that Rajon Rondo will not be traded by the trade deadline this year.

I anticipate him being here for a long time. Rondo and Doc get along fine. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t bumps in the road. But I would go so far as to say they get along now better than they ever have. This is nothing new. There are other issues that concern us so much more.

It’s still always fun to play the “what if” game. So with that in mind, lets play.

Rondo to the Lakers:

This is my personal favorite scenario. I like thinking about Rondo, Kobe, and Bynum being the new big three. This comes with the assumption that Pau would be part of this deal. That seems to be the general consensus, Pau for Rondo straight up. Lets just hope Rajon and Kobe can put this behind them.

Rondo to the Kings:

I haven’t personally seen this suggested anywhere. Let me be the first to throw out the idea of the Sacramento Wildcats. The Kings sitting at 12-23, have a chance to get the #1 pick. Send Rondo to the Kings for Tyreke Evans and seal up 2011-12’s POY ThomasRobinson Anthony Davis with the #1 pick and let the good times roll. Imagine Rondo throwing an oop to Cousins and Demarcus catching and lobbing it up to Anthony Davis for the double oop as Chuck Hayes fends off all would be haters. Francisco Garcia can keep cheering from his spot at the end of the bench. nbacardinals.com.

Rondo to the Pacers:

I had to throw in a picture of the flying Dutchman.

The Pacers are in need of some changes. Danny Granger is still getting it done scoring wise. He is averaging just over 18 a game. The problem with Granger is that he is blocking the way for the Pacer future in the name of Paul George. Granger and Darren Collison is a deal the Celtics wouldn’t go for, but throw in a draft pick and it’s possible. Rajon with George and Hibbert. The Pacers could quickly be a team people are buzzing about. They are in 3rd in the east right now, and this would just make them a better team. With Rondo in Indy, Cat fans would have easier access to seeing the Louisville native live. This would be a good fit for Rajon.

Where do you think Rajon could end up?
