NBAcat MVP of the Night: Patrick Patterson.

The hardest working man in Houston!

-Patrick Patterson will always be one of my favorite NBAcats of all time. He did all the dirty work, even if it didn’t fill up the stat sheet. Tonight though the stat sheet was filled. The Houston Rockets took on the Los Angles Clippers and Patrick put in 31 minutes in the 91-95 loss. In those minutes he scored 14 points on 5-11 shooting, had 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. From NBA.com

The Rockets found success going inside to Patrick Patterson down the stretch. After he made two straight baskets while guarded by Blake Griffin, Patterson was then forced into a tough 14-foot fall-away from the baseline and missed with 34 seconds remaining.

Go Patrick, on St. Patricks Day. Eric Bledsoe also saw minutes in this game for the Clippers. He played 2 minutes and had 1 assist and 0 points. You can find the full game box score here.

-Jamaal Magloire saw 5 minutes tonight in a loss at Charlotte. The Raptors lost 103-107. Jamaal was 1-2 form the field for 2 point and contributed 1 rebound. You can see the full game box score here.

The New York Knicks beat the Indiana Pacers on the road today 102-88. Josh Harrellson did not play for what was said was “coaches decision”. I believe he didn’t play because Mike Woodson did not want to embarrass the Pacers any more than they did in his second victory as Interim head coach. Your can find the complete game box score here.

The Philadelphia 76er’s lost on the road to the Chicago Bulls 80-89. Jodie Meeks amassed 17 minutes and 6 points. He was 2-3 from the field and 1-2 from three point land. He also added 1 rebound. If his number stay this efficient there is no way Doug Collins can keep him on the bench. You can find the complete game box score here.

The Boston Celtics lost on the road to the Denver Nuggets 91-98. Rajon Rondo had another Rajon Rondo type of game playing 44 minutes with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 16 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block, while going 6-11 from the field. You can find the complete game box score here.

-The Utah Jazz won at home in overtime against the Golden State Warriors. Enes Kanter had 4 points, 13 rebounds and 1 assist, while going 2-7 from the field in 20 minutes. Rebounding beast mode. You can find the complete game box score here.
