Jodie Meeks happy about Kentucky winning the 2012 NCAA Championship

He doesn’t get asked about Kentucky winning the 2012 NCAA championship until the very end of the video, so if you don’t want to listen to Jodie Meeks talking about the 76ers making the playoffs, scroll to the 1:36 mark.

Last night Meeks got the start over Evan Turner and added 5 points (2-5 shooting) and 2 rebounds in 30 minutes of action (the 76ers lost to the Magic 113-100).

Jodie Meeks has been struggling to find his shooting stroke lately for the 76ers (31-29), but when you’ve scored 54 points for the University of Kentucky, shooting slumps don’t last long.

On the season Meeks is averaging 8.3ppg and 2.5rpg while shooting 37% from three.

The 76ers currently occupy the 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and are 2 games ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks with 7 games left in the regular season.
