Brandon Knight scores career-high 28 points

Brandon Knight was sensational last night, recording a career-high 28 points on a near perfect 11-12 shooting. He didn’t stop there though, as Knight also added 7 assists and 2 rebounds with only 2 turnovers. The Detroit Pistons ended up beating the Cleveland Cavaliers senseless, winning 116-77.

Going head-to-head with fellow star rookie point guard Kyrie Irving, Knight has played very well. In 4 games he is averaging 22.8ppg, 5.3apg and 3.0rpg while shooting 72% from three. The Pistons split the season series with the Cavs 2-2, including winning the last two.

Over the last 2 weeks, Knight has been making a push for Rookie of the Year, scoring 20 or more points three times. He is currently averaging 13.0ppg, 3.8apg and 3.2rpg.
