Patrick Patterson to have ankle surgery, hopes to work on his 1-on-1 game this summer
This video is the only source I could find that mentions anything about Patrick Patterson having ankle surgery, but according to Patrick Patterson himself, he is having a “quick scope” to clean out an ankle that has been bothering him for the better part of the last 2 years.
He says in the video that the ankle still gives him pain, even mentioning that from time to time it would “tingle”. According to emedicinehealth.com, he might be out of commission for up to six weeks.
Patterson also talked about his plans to improve his 1-on-1 skills. He didn’t specifically say that he was going to be in Lexington working on those improvements, but I would imagine he makes at least a few stops to the Craft center this summer to work on his game.
Hopefully Patterson can recover from the ankle scope quickly and make the improvements he plans to, because I want to watch him and the Rockets in the playoffs next year.
