Eric Bledsoe and the Clippers defeat Grizzlies 82-72, advance to face Spurs in second round
With Chris Paul hobbling around for the second straight game, Bledsoe once again came up big, finishing with 8 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 steal in 14 minutes of action, helping the Clippers do what they had to do, win Game 7. With the win, the Clippers are now headed to San Antonio to face Tim Duncan and the Spurs.
The win also ensured that the University of Kentucky will have 4 players represented in the second round of the NBA playoffs, Bledsoe, Rajon Rondo, Nazr Mohammed and Jodie Meeks.
In 7 games against the Grizzlies, Bledsoe was a spark plug off the bench, averaging 5.9 ppg, 2.0 rpg and 2.0 apg in 13.7 minutes per game.
The Clippers and Spurs will play Game 1 on Tuesday at 9:30 on TNT.
