Thanks to Jodie Meeks presence on the 76ers bench, cheering on teammates and not letting the stupidity of Doug Collins get to him, the Sixers won a playoff game in Boston for the first time since 1982.

Jodie Meeks actually played in the closing seconds of the game with the outcome still in question, most likely because he shoots 91% from the free throw line, and was able to knock down to clutch free throws. He finished the game with 4 points and 1 assist in 6 minutes of action.

Rajon Rondo had another outstanding statistical line for the Celtics, finishing with 8 points, 13 assists, 7 rebounds and 1 steal, but it wasn’t enough.

The game was ugly (Philadelphia only had 38 points midway through the 3rd quarter) and the Celtics blew an opportunity to get the win late in the game, but when an NBA Cat wins, we all win.

The series is now tied at 1-1.
